The protection of your personal data when collecting, processing and use during the game is very important to us. Your data will be protected in accordance with legal regulations. Below you will find information about which data is collected during the game and how it is used.

Data that you provide directly to us
Here the following data are requested:
- Your username,
- Your email address,
We would also like you to create a player profile that other players can see. Your player profile may include the following data:
- Your username for the game,
- Details of the games you play, and /or
- A player ID created by us to identify your player account.
If you share your mobile phone number with us, we will also record this number and save it for the duration of the scientific evaluation.
Data that you create by using the game
When you use our game, we collect information about how you use or access the game, such as when and for how long you play our game, what game features you access, which players you interact with, your achievement or level and other game activities.
An essential part of the game is uploading your food photos; hence we capture and store them. Nevertheless, these photos will be deleted immediately after other players submit their reviews.
Game Support Correspondence
When you ask for help from our Game Support, we collect and store the contact information you provide (usually your name and email address), your game history, activity in our game, and your player ID. In addition, we will record communications you have with our customer support team and any additional data included to provide support.

The main purpose of data collection and storage is to implement our research project DeCarbFriends.
- Disclosure of data
We do not share your information with third parties.
The consent given can be revoked at any time, as long as the data is not effectively anonymised. The data will be anonymised no later than 4 weeks after your survey.
